Beatport Signs 5,600 SQFT Office Lease in Los Angeles

Online Electronic Music Store and Streaming Service Coming to DTLA Arts District

Beverly Hills, CA – November 4, 2024 – Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, a division of Kennedy-Wilson Properties, Ltd., today announced the completion of a 5,600-square-foot lease at 909 S. Santa Fe Ave. in the Arts District neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles. Online electronic music streamer Beatport will take over the creative office space previously occupied by a prominent design agency. Assistant Vice President Jack Nathan and Vice President Caleb Hodge represented the landlord, 909 S Santa Fe Ave LLC, in the transaction. Terms of the lease are confidential.

“This is one of the best blocks in the Arts District,” said Nathan. “909 S. Santa Fe is between Soho Warehouse and Warner Music Group with Bestia literally around the corner. For creative companies like Beatport, it doesn’t get better than this in L.A.”

The move-in ready building in the heart of the Arts District was built in 1917 and features a bow truss ceiling, polished concrete floors, exposed brick walls, skylights, a communal patio space, and gated parking.

“This deal demonstrates that successful businesses in the tech and creative sectors are still seeking high-design office space with surrounding amenities that will appeal to their employees,” said Hodge. “It also shows the continued desire for these tenants to cluster in submarkets that support their brand identity such as the Arts District.”

Notable tenants in the Arts District include Warner Music Group, Condé Nast, Splendid, Spotify, Honey, HOK, Califia Farms, and Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator.
