U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has hired GardaWorld Federal Services to retrofit a 639,595-square-foot East Side warehouse it bought for $66.1 million into an immigrant processing and detention center, advancing a San Antonio project even as the agency unwinds nearly identical conversions nationwide.
