Best Choice Products, an e-commerce brand specializing in home goods, is set to move its corporate headquarters to Newport Beach. According to a report from the Orange County Business Journal, the Tustin-based company recently signed a lease for 52,000 square feet at 100 Bayview Circle.
The new lease is for a portion of the larger 346,335 square foot property, which is owned by Granite Properties. The Bayview campus is also home to a number of amenities, including the 250-room Marriott Hotel, various outdoor spaces, dining areas and more. The property is situated near the 405, 55 and 73 Freeways and is also closely located to the John Wayne Airport.
Currently, the company is located at 15101 Red Hill Ave. in Tustin, where the company’s lease is set to expire soon, per the report.
The Orange County office market has seen a number of leases in recent months. According to a recent Orange County office market report from Cushman & Wakefield, the county has seen 5.1 million square feet of new leases across 1,233 transactions year-to-date. Direct leasing accounted for 85 percent of the total and subleases accounted for 15 percent.
Despite this, the report notes that Orange County will likely continue to see challenges in 2024. The vacancy rate in Orange County’s office market has increased to 19.7 percent, with availability at 23.4 percent, while rental rates have remained largely unchanged at $2.85 per square foot.
