Real estate developer Chateau Group USA recently completed a major transaction, selling its partially completed mixed-use project, Province San Gabriel, for $125 million. The buyer is an entity associated with UP Province Holding LLC, according to a report from The Real Deal.
Situated at 400 West Valley Blvd., the Province San Gabriel includes approximately 74,764 square feet of commercial retail space below 127 residential units. Designs for the project are from KTGY and include a six-story building, with units ranging from 650 square feet to 1,360 square feet, according to the architecture firm’s website. The development would also include 172 parking space for residential use and 311 for commercial use.
It remains uncertain whether the buyer’s acquisition of Province San Gabriel is contingent upon its completion or if they will undertake the responsibility of finishing the project. The details surrounding this have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2004, Chateau Group is the parent company of Arcadia-based Chateau Group USA. According to the firm’s LinkedIn page, Chateau Group USA builds more than luxury homes annually across Southern California.
The firm currently has other under-construction properties throughout Southern California, according to its website. These include One Gallop, a 96-unit development in Arcadia; the 33-unit Irolo Heights, located in Los Angeles’ Koreatown; and several others.
