South Korea's HD Hyundai and Omaha-based Kiewit plan to form HD Kiewit Shipbuilding to develop a new naval and commercial shipyard on a deepwater industrial site in Ingleside, with construction targeted for 2027, full operations in 2029 and as many as 3,000 jobs.
