SAN DIEGO – July 11, 2022 – CBRE announced today that Chuck Reiter has joined its San Diego office as a Senior Vice President. Mr. Reiter will partner with Ryan Grant and Jeff Oesterblad to lease Class A office buildings downtown and in other high-profile San Diego neighborhoods on behalf of landlords and investors.
Mr. Reiter brings more than 16 years of multi-tenant office leasing experience to CBRE. Before joining CBRE, he served as a Leasing Director for Irvine Company Office Properties, where he was responsible for leasing and marketing strategies for the company’s 32 million square feet of office properties in Orange County.
At Irvine Company, Mr. Reiter participated in leasing the company’s Orange County portfolio and was directly responsible for leasing and marketing Newport Gateway, UCI Research Park, and Market Place Center, among others. Since 2017, he has executed approximately 4.6 million square feet in leases, averaging more than 100 transactions per year and working with high-profile tenants in the interactive entertainment, higher education, nonprofit, technology, energy and financial services industries.

Mr. Reiter began his commercial real estate career in 2004 with Irvine Company, managing construction projects for the company’s Orange County and San Diego office portfolios. In 2008, he transitioned to the company’s leasing department, helping to oversee its campus office portfolio.
Mr. Reiter is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He is a member of the board of directors for the Second Harvest Food Bank Associates and The OC Marathon Foundation. Mr. Reiter is also an accomplished athlete, having completed 10 Ironman Triathlons.
