Austin-based OHT Partners has started construction on The Barton, a low-density 402-unit rental community of garden-style apartments and townhomes on more than 60 acres at 8956 W. State Highway 71, with first move-ins targeted for early 2028 in a Southwest Austin submarket where renter demand has outrun new supply.
