Despite current trends in the Los Angeles office market pointing toward high vacancy rates, a large office project in Century City has secured another tenant. According to a report from Commercial Observer, law firm Sidley Austin is set to take approximately 75,000 square feet at 1950 Avenue of the Stars.
The 700,000 square foot office project comes from JMB Realty and is set to be completed by 2026. The 37-story tower is designed by architecture firm Johnson Fain and will offer office space as well as retail and dining amenities.
At the ground floor level, the building will provide private access screening rooms. Other amenities include a two-story parking structure and two acres of courtyards and onsite gardens. An outdoor transit plaza will also offer access to the metro station development at the corner of Constellation Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars.
Sidley Austin is not the only company to take space at the office development in recent months.
Clearlake Capital Group also recently took 150,000 square feet at the building. The 15-year lease would allow the company to take eight floors at the building, according to The Registry’s previous reporting.
Prior to that in 2022, Creative Artists Agency also signed for 400,000 square feet at the property. The move would relocate the talent agency from its current headquarters at 2000 Avenue of the Stars.
