A Sept. 1 state construction filing has attached a 2028 occupancy date to Tesla Inc.'s largest Austin-area warehouse lease, leaving a 538,720-square-foot Mustang Ridge building dark for nearly three years after completion and sharpening the question of how much of the region's big-box absorption reflects real demand rather than optioned capacity.
