The U.S. Air Force has selected the Layton/Gensler team to demolish and rebuild five aging dormitories at Fort Sam Houston's Medical Education and Training Campus, a roughly $1.4 billion effort to re-house 6,000 military medical trainees after mold and structural failures forced a mass evacuation this summer.
