Ventas has acquired Heartis Mid Cities, a 178-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Bedford, from a joint venture between Dallas-based Caddis Partners and a private equity real estate fund, pushing the health care REIT's record 2026 buying run into the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
