Harlingen-based Amethyst Hospitality Group has taken over the 19-story Westin San Antonio North on Colonnade Boulevard, a 1985-built full-service tower facing USAA's headquarters campus, and is lining up a renovation aimed at winning more of a slowly recovering San Antonio hotel market.
