Dallas Sends $443MM Public Safety Bond to Voters, Setting Up City Hall Exit

The Dallas City Council voted 11-4 to place a $443 million public safety bond on the November ballot, financing a new police academy in southern Dallas, a consolidated crime lab and evidence complex, and the relocation of the city's 911 center out of its aging downtown City Hall.
