Tesla, SpaceX Lock In Grimes County for 100MM SQFT ‘Terafab’ Chip Megafab, $16.8B First Phase

Tesla and SpaceX have named Grimes County, Texas as the site of Terafab, a semiconductor megafactory the companies say will span more than 100 million square feet and cost at least $16.8 billion to start, even as their own securities filings describe the venture as far from settled.
