Florida-based Sailfish Investors secured Governor Greg Abbott's endorsement for its sprawling Comanche Circle data center campus in southern Hood County in mid-August, even as the collapse of a natural gas plant meant to power the project and an organized resident revolt near Dinosaur Valley State Park left its route to construction deeply uncertain.
