Katy-based Academy Sports and Outdoors will open a 55,000-square-foot store beside Lowe's at Gulf Coast Commercial Group's Magnolia Village on Nov. 14, its 126th Texas location and the latest big-box bet on the fast-growing FM 1488 corridor north of Houston.
