Amazon-owned Zoox has put safety-driver test vehicles on the streets of seven Houston neighborhoods and confirmed it has leased a local charging and maintenance depot, turning autonomous fleet operators into a new and largely unmeasured source of demand in one of the country's fastest-absorbing industrial markets.
