Plano Voters Sink $700MM Venue-Tax Plan for Dallas Stars’ $3B Willow Bend Arena District

Plano voters turned down Proposition A by roughly 54 percent to 46 percent, stripping the city of the venue taxes it planned to use to repay up to $700 million in bonds for a city-owned Dallas Stars arena and sending officials back to rework the financing for the $3 billion district at The Shops at Willow Bend.
