The Woodlands Clinches $50MM Deal to Permanently Block Houston Annexation

The Woodlands Township has agreed to pay the City of Houston roughly $50 million to erase a 2057 deadline and make Houston's promise never to annex the Montgomery County community permanent, a fiscal reset with direct stakes for the master-planned enclave's commercial landowners.
